The growth that you desire from your business is larger than you, and the goals you set are larger than Your Alliance. It is a big picture that scales your business and up-levels everyone’s experience. To become the leader you were meant to be requires great leadership. The formula is laid out in front of you, but first I want to share 6 ways to inspire loyalty with great leadership.
6 Things You Need to Understand About Leadership
The S.C.A.L.E Formula® – Step #4: Defining Leadership. Just like the thousands of entrepreneurs that I have worked with, you need to recognize great leadership. The massive success that I am talking about, scaling your business to make the big shift from entrepreneur to 7-figure enterprise, depends on you becoming the leader you were meant to be. Here are my 6 ways to inspire with great leadership.
- Instill Trust.
Trust is a 2-way street. If you instill trust, you will receive trust in return. Do not fall into the trap of causing personal doubt, from yourself to your team members. Second guessing and looking over shoulders is not a way to inspire great leadership, let alone make the big shift from entrepreneur to 7-figure enterprise.
Trust is an essential part of doing your job to inspire with great leadership. It is as simple as entrusting Your Alliance to get the job done. In return, they will work harder to reach the goals you set, especially if they trust in your strategic vision as a leader.
- Encourage Development.
Think of team development as an opportunity, not a burden. You are an entrepreneur at heart, and at the heart of it all is passion. Think of opportunities for development as an open invitation for You Alliance to follow their passions. What excites them about their position? Encourage them to become invested in how they play into the big picture.
Your team (just like you) craves meaning in their life. Shift from seeing team development as a burden and see it as an opportunity, and you will make the big shift from entrepreneur to 7-figure enterprise. If you inspire with great leadership, you will inspire passion and expansion amongst your team.
- Lead by Example.
From the bottom to the top, leadership begins with you – inspire with your example. More often than not, a leader is expected to have more responsibility than their team members. However, you are not more important, held to a different standard or “above” any work that you expect of Your Alliance. Make the shift from devaluing tasks as menial or unimportant, and do whatever it takes for your company to be successful so everyone around you will too.
A leading entrepreneur acts as a role model. The CEO of a 7-figure enterprise acts as a leader. There is a difference between demanding action and expecting loyalty, and causing action and inspiring loyalty. And, that difference is in how you lead by example and inspire with great leadership.
- Create Clarity.
You are at the helm, steer with a clear compass – clarify the goals and clarify the direction. Leadership requires you to not only be clear in your strategic vision, but in how you lead your team to implement that strategic vision day-in and day-out. The short-term and long-term must be clear to Your Alliance. Otherwise, the roadmap feels like a road to nowhere. Create clarity and you will inspire with great leadership.
- Keep Connected.
Remember the human aspect of it all, and connect with Your Alliance. At the very basic level, Your Alliance is human. Yes, there is a boundary between personal and professional that should be maintained. However, there is also a human element that you must acknowledge if you are going to make the big shift from entrepreneur to 7-figure enterprise.
Every team member will undergo trials and tribulations, successes and celebrations. Stay connected! Do you know when your team members have major life milestones, like a birth, death, marriage or divorce? Great leadership inspires because it cultivates care and values compassion. When you practice great leadership, your team will return the favor with loyalty.
- Stay Open, Stay Honest.
There is nothing that inspires action and loyalty more than leading with honesty. Trust and confidence grow with open and honest communication. Transparency is key if you want to create a sense of inclusion within Your Alliance. Team members will thrive and stay longer if they feel as if they have skin in the game and are an integral part of the big picture.
It becomes infinitely easier to up-level your success if you lead with honesty and work towards a common goal. Leadership is not easy, but great leadership is the key to reaching your pinnacle. Choose to lead your team by choosing to inspire action and loyalty, and you will make the big shift from entrepreneur to 7-figure enterprise.
